Jim Callighan was born and raised in Sacramento and attended McClatchy High School. He met his wife Sandy, while teaching. Both Jim and Sandy are retired school teachers. They have been married 32 years and have one grown daughter, Meghan.

A favorite Bible verse -  John 1, verses 1-5: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Dennis Geyer was born in Michigan and raised as an Air Force brat. He attended Michigan state and has a Bachelors' degree in  American history with a minor in education. He has his masters degee in higher education administration. He moved to Sacramento in 2006 to work at California State University Sacramento. His wife of 40 years, Karen, works at UC Davis Medical Center. They have two grown sons and one daughter.
A favorite Bible verse: Psalm 118:24: This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Bob Jones was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He moved to southern California in1962, where he met his wife  Mona, at a young adult church group. They have been married 44 years. They have two grown children, Matt and Laura. Mona is a retired school teacher. Bob is retired from the City of Sacramento.

A favorite Bible verse - John 3:16: For God so loved ithe world,that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Richard Markwell  grew up in Arcadia, California. He settled in Sacramento in 1974. Richard met his wife, Charlotte, in high school. They have been married 35 years. They have two grown daughters, one granddaughter and three grandsons.

Omar Pertel grew up in St.David Arizona. He moved to Riverside, California when he was 9 years-old. Omar graduated from San Bernardino in 1977, with a degree in public administration and business management. He met his wife Judy of 25 years through the mother of a co-worker. They moved to Sacramento in 1987. They have two sons, Gus and Roman.

A favorite Bible verse - Psalm 21 1-3: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.2 He makes me lie down in green fpastures. He leads me beside still waters.3 He restores my soul.He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Lon Spharler grew up in the east bay. He moved to Sacramento in 1964. He met his  wife Jeanne at a square dance given by the West Portal Lutheran Church in San Francisco. They have been married 50 years. They have two grown children,Jeff and Linda and two grandsons.

A favorite Bible verse- St. John 17. Verse 3: And this is life eternal, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
